FINANCIAL CAPABILITY WORKER
Type of Contract: 12 months fixed term
Salary: £22,087 p.a.

Citizens Advice Knowsley are looking for two full time (35 hours) Financial Capability Workers, to provide a service to the residents of Knowsley. Ideally with a background in training or advice work, preferably finance related, the successful candidate will be expected to work to strict quality assurance standards and be willing to undertake a professional training and development programme.
At present the role will be largely home based with some work from our Kirkby and Huyton offices. It is expected that the role will also provide services to individual clients and groups at other community venues around Knowsley in due course.
Previous experience in financial capability work is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.

CHAIR OF TRUSTEES
We are looking to recruit an experienced leader as Chair of Trustees for Citizens Advice Knowsley.
The Chair is expected to provide leadership and influence over the future direction of the organisation; be a spokesperson, ambassador and custodian of Citizens Advice Knowsley.
We are looking for a candidate with leadership experience, an understanding of the services we provide and the determination to ensure that we continue to provide quality advice services to Knowsley residents in a climate where there is increased demand for our services and continued pressure on funding.
In addition to chairing board meetings and leading a team of Trustees, the Chair will be expected to represent Citizens Advice Knowsley at a local and regional level amongst key stakeholders and build a strong relationship with Citizens Advice nationally.
We are looking for someone who will take the lead at our board meeting, ensuring that all Trustees are able to contribute, show their skills, knowledge and experience and enable the board to make effective decisions.
The Chair will demonstrate clear leadership of the organisation and be able to clearly communicate the strategic objectives of Citizens Advice Knowsley both internally and externally.
You will also be responsible for providing direction to the Chief Officer and senior management and ensuring that suitable support and guidance is available where required.
You will be joining an established Board of Trustees who are keen to develop the organisation and meet the challenges that lie ahead.
