This year marks the 80th anniversary of the opening of the first Citizens Advice. To celebrate this anniversary Citizens Advice has teamed up with the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority to produce the “Communities and Growth” publication, a report which details the impact Citizens Advice has in resolving people’s problems across the Liverpool City Region.
The Communities and Growth report shows the different ways Citizens Advice helps people with their problems across the Liverpool City Region by:
giving examples of successful projects that have made an impact in our community
showing the vital contribution that volunteers make to our service
demonstrating how Citizens Advice will respond to change by adapting how it communicates with its clients
Alongside the launch of the Communities and Growth report, members of Citizens Advice also shared examples of how to improve their service by gaining a greater understanding of the communities they are based in and the services needed there.
The publication was launched on 18th February 2019 at an event hosted Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram. The event was attended by Citizens Advice Knowsley’s Chief Executive Brian Gouldson and Assistant Chief Officer Carol Marsh who were on hand to demonstrate the impact that Citizens Advice Knowsley has in the local area.
