Universal Support – Help to Claim Adviser

Fixed term to 31 March 2020
Salary: £21074 p.a.
Hours of Work: 35 hr. p.w.
In addition we offer an employers Pension contribution of 6%

Citizens Advice is set to deliver a new service called “Universal Support: Help to Claim” which offers end-to-end support to help people make a new Universal Credit claim and be ready for when their first payment arrives.

We are looking for an adviser with good IT skills to support clients to make and complete their new Universal Credit claim, as well as a commitment to the aims and principles of the Citizens Advice Service.

You’ll have the ability to interview clients using sensitive listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the issues and empower clients, whilst maintaining structure and control of meetings.

You will be based in Citizens Advice Knowsley and work throughout the Knowsley Borough

Debt Support Worker (21 hours)

Citizens Advice Knowsley has the following vacancy funded through the Money Advice Service Debt Advice Project.

Salary: £18,770 (pro-rata £11322) plus 6% employers pension contribution after 3 months

Vacancy for one part- time (21 hours) Debt Support Worker to work as part of our Debt Advice Team.

Ideally with a knowledge of advice issues, in particular debt advice, the successful candidate will provide administrative support and an assessment service to clients and referral partners.
