Greater Merseyside Money Advice Project The Greater Merseyside Money Advice Project (GMMAP) is part of a national initiative to provide money advice to individuals locally. This project aims to increase the provision of debt advice, particularly in areas of high financial exclusion across Merseyside and parts of Cheshire.

The project is funded by The Money Advice Service – an independent service set up by the government to help anyone and everyone make the most of their money.

Knowsley Citizens Advice is the lead organisation in the project which has 12 partners in key locations offering both site based and outreach services.

There are 37 Debt Advisers in total providing support to in excess of 15000 people across Greater Merseyside and Warrington.
