One of our advisers had an appointment with a young girl who was expecting her first baby. She had been very sick since becoming pregnant and her employer was threatening to dismiss her. Our adviser talked her through her options and maternity benefit entitlement. The adviser also helped her with what she could do if she was dismissed. The young girl had visited the bureau with her Mum and both of them told the adviser how much better and relieved they felt after seeing her. The adviser said it made her day worthwhile.
